Interested to hear what peoples experiences with the menstrual cup are like? I’ve been considering it but have heard mixed reviews!

It took me years to come around to trying the menstrual cup, eventually encouraged by my daughter. It was positively life changing! Once you get to grips with it, and make sure it is well-positioned, it is so simple and straightforward to use. Not nearly as messy as I’d thought it might be ;o The only trouble I experienced was when I started to have very heavy clotting; the weight of which caused the cup to be pushed down and towards out. I often think that for charities to distribute menstrual cups rather than tampons/towels would make so much more sense and genuinely help with the problems of period poverty.
